In 2006 I started assisting families with needs in Marion County. Four years later, Pay It Forward Outreach Corp, was birthed as a 501(c)3 organization. We are in our 17th year and the program has reach over 6,000 families with our Sustainable Housing, Adopt a Family for Christmas, Step to the Future Finance, and Step to the Future Health programs. It has been an honor in serving the needs in Marion and bordering counties. To God be the Glory.
Jon Boring

I have lived in Florida, Daytona Beach. I am retired from the construction trade.
I am married to my wife Karen and we have a son and daughter in law that gave us three beautiful grand daughters, which are a joy and delight. I am truly blessed by the Lord our God.
My wife started volunteering at PIFOC which I also volunteer at from time to time. I was asked to serve as one of board members. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful organization.
Steve Reynolds
Board Member
Raised in a loving Christian home, Steve rebelled from an early age. When he was 19, and living according to the course of this world, he was enrolled in an intro philosophy class led by an atheist professor. Even though Steve wasn’t following Christ, the arguments against God made by the professor began to challenge Steve in his soul. He found a copy of the word of God, and began reading the Gospels. Instantly, he began to see Christ as he had never known Him before. He could see no other way than to give all his life to this beautiful Jesus he was now seeing through scripture.
Through supernatural events that soon followed, Steve also experienced deliverance from substance abuse.
Since that time, Steve served as a children’s pastor for over 20 years. He is currently teaching science to sixth graders in the public school system and serving as a minister overseeing spiritual development at a local church.
The passion that stirs Steve’s heart is to see the church gripped with the revelation of Jesus Christ and His love for the world.
Seeing that Pay It Forward has been raised up for the body of Christ to minister the love of Christ to those in need, Steve is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board.

I’ve lived in Ocala for over 30 years. During that time I have worked for several non profits focusing primarily on supporting children and families in need. I’m honored to be on the board of PIFOC and hope my skills and experience can make a difference in our community.
Karen Boring
Treasurer
I lived and worked in Ocala for over 40 years. During my banking career I volunteered for “Day of Caring” for several years.
After my retirement in 2022, I volunteered as an elf for PIFOC “Adopt a Family for Christmas” which brought me great joy. That January I started volunteering at PIFOC warehouse with Bonnie and other amazing people with strong faith and prayer lives. Which has helped me grow. And I also have an opportunity to meet and pray with people that come in for the services that PIFOC provides.
I am proud to serve as a board member for the organization.
Brenda Adams

I have lived in Marion County since 1979. My mother instilled in me since a young child compassion, love for others and to give without ever expecting anything in return. I work for a local non profit helping families affected by substance use and mental health. It is a privilege to be on the board of Pay It Forward Outreach where I can serve my community and show the love of Christ!
